Having met on the city’s thriving music scene in 2011, the band are led by saxophonist/arranger Fliss Gorst (Celebrating Bond, My Winehouse, The Fliss Gorst Quartet). Her love for swing/jive greats (Louis Prima, Brian Setzer) and more modern feel good music (Olly Murs, Paolo Nutini), led her to write and arrange music for this fabulously fun ensemble of lively musicians.
Jivestar love to perform new takes on old classics, authentic swing, jumpin’ jive, rock n’ roll and much more. Joined by London’s premier swing vocalists they offer an unforgettable night of music and entertainment.
