Skip to main contentDorset girl Jazz Morley possesses a voice with such natural soulfulness that it comes as no surprise to learn that her first public performance was the first year infants’ nativity play!
Fast forward to the present day and we find a rich, warm, emotive voice capable of the tiniest whisper of love to the full vent of a woman scorned.
Support came from the BBC in February 2011 when Jazz took part in the BBC "Introducing Musicians’ Masterclass" taking place at Abbey Road Studios.
BBC3 invited Jazz to contribute to on-line content of the extraordinarily moving documentary ‘Our War’ marking the ten-year anniversary of the war in Afghanistan.
Festival invites have also found their way to Jazz with Isle of Wight, Beach Break Live, The Great Escape, Greenbelt, Guilfest, Redfest, Bearded Theory and Wychwood all finding their way into Jazz’s diary.
Music Week recognised this growing industry popularity by inviting Jazz to perform at ‘Breakout’ - their monthly showcase night for best new label signings and emerging talent.
Summer 2012 saw Jazz invited to perform both the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games – one of just a handful of independent artists to do so.

Please can you pass on our thanks to Jazz for helping us have a fantastic evening, the music was exactly what we were after even to finding some of the music we had suggested, that was not well known, and played in the interval. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jazz to anyone for their reception, not only was her music/talent first class, but she was a lovely person and a pleasure to meet.
"Thank you so much jazz, you were simply fantastic when you sang at our wedding in August. you set the mood beautifully for the ceremony and played our song choices perfectly through out the reception. Even learning that particular piece of music that we had chosen, you made it very personal. not only is your voice amazingly soulful, drawing many a comment from our guests, but you are a genuinely nice person too. Andy and I feel privileged that you could be a part of such a special day"
