Eight Feet High play regular at The Rodley Barge...about 8 times a year and are a class band who pull the crowds in. Always very popular with everyone and really relate to them. This year they also did a gig outside for our yearly beer/music festival and it went with a storm...they stole the show?.so will definitely be doing that again!! Debbie Whittaker - Rodley Barge Landlord
Just a short message to say a massive massive thank you for last night. You and the boys were absolutely brilliant, I know you had to come a long long way but everyone has been raving about you!!!!!!!! Matt was in his element on the drums, thanks for letting him play with you all it made my night. Glad the Scunthorpe crew did not let you guys down. Let us know when you guys got your gigs on and will try come along and support. Thanks again! Matt and Charlie
?Hi to James and all the guys! Thank you so much for playing at our wedding on Thursday at Danby Castle. You went down a storm and everyone really enjoyed the sets you did (Esp Nick frost look-a-like! hehe). From the moment I got in touch with James to book the band until the day they played they were great in accommodating our song requests. Anyone looking to hire a band who are great sounding, spontaneous, add in a bit of hilarious humour and always give 'More' these are your guys! Thank you again and we'll def be coming to see you play again be it in Whitby or the Barge! Nikki and Allan
?It is fair to say if you want a bunch of lads handy with their instruments, then these are the guys for you. I've seen them all over the place - small intimate gigs in town pubs when I've least expected it to grand scale charity bashes or celebrity parties. Wherever EFH turn up - and they seem to turn up everywhere - they quickly get the crowd behind them and it is not long before dancefloors are filled with the young and the old thanks to their mix of music. So I can offer no better recommendation than to say if you are organising a party, a charity event (they played at the Whitby Gazette Pride of Whitby awards - one of many charity nights they have pledged their support to) or you want your pub to host a lively gig with a great bunch of lads, Eight Feet High are the band for you.?
