Thank you to Classic Noir for providing such fab entertainment for our wedding party! From the communication leading up to the event, and their conduct on the night, the guys made everything so straightforward and relaxed. Our guests had such a great time dancing away to the tunes with such a variety of genres. Thanks again for for everything!

Classic Noir were outstanding at our recent wedding reception. From initial contact, Gav was very easy to deal with and very relaxed about a late change of first dance song. The dance floor was packed from start to finish, specific requests from us were slotted in seamlessly with the brilliant setlist. The music was varied and perfectly pitched to suit the audience. Loads of guests said it was the best wedding band they'd ever seen!
This is the third time we've used Hireaband to book entertainment for an event and although the business has gotten bigger with more staff we feel that the service has remained personal and friendly throughout. We'll certainly be in touch for future events!

The Hireaband said that experienced bands can read a room, and so don't work from a set list - This is absolutely spot on! They are clearly very experienced musicians, and great guys to deal with. From our initial contact with hireaband and attending one of the band showcases at the Holiday Inn in East Kilbride, we knew that we wanted to book Classic Noir as our wedding band.

We have received a brilliant service from Hireaband throughout the booking process and when we eventually got in contact with the band directly we could not have been happier that we chose Classic Noir.

Gav is a great guy and he couldn’t do enough for us in the build up to our wedding.
When we met him in person just prior to the evening reception he was a gentleman and explained how he couldn’t wait to get the party started. It really settled any nerves we may have had prior to the music starting.

Straight from the very first song to the last song the dance floor was bouncing and everyone at our wedding commented on how good the band were. There was no need to make any requests as the music the lads played was brilliant and catered for a wide and varying age group of guests.

We could not recommend Gav and the guys in Classic Noir enough and we are delighted that they played such a big part on our wedding!

I couldn’t recommend Classic Noir highly enough. From the communication before the wedding, to the quick chat before setting up and finally to the truly outstanding performance they delivered at our ceremony, the guys were fantastic. Gav is very approachable and quick to respond to any queries or requests via email, however the best thing about the band is the way they perform. Our dance floor was full from start to finish and that is testament to to quality of the music and vocals from Classic Noir. So many of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the set. We were delighted with the service provided, and have already recommended the band to friends who are planning weddings in the future. My wife and I can’t wait to see them again!

Words can't describe how much we love these guys, they played our wedding a few weeks ago (10th December) and they couldn't have been anymore perfect. Everyone complimented them and are still talking about them to this day... best wedding band ever!!!

The band were absolutely brilliant- couldn't have hoped for a better performance. Gav was really easy to deal with and whilst we didn't have any major requests, he was happy to help throughout. The quality of the singing/playing was really high and the band had everyone up and dancing from the very first song until the end of their set. Quite a few people commented on how good the band were which is a testament to their performance. I would highly recommend booking the guys. Top class!

Classic Noir were amazing!!

All round a very easy and professional service from both the team at Hireaband and from Classic Noir.
We were quite indecisive about what type of band we wanted initially and the team at Hireaband were very helpful and patient with us while we made our choice. It was great to be able to watch the videos of the bands on offer as we didn't have time to go to a showcase. All the information we were given was very clear and easy to understand, and placing the booking was simple.
Classic Noir were a bit more expensive than we had hoped to pay but they gave a great performance at our wedding and we were thoroughly pleased (as was everyone on the dancefloor!). They were very flexible when we asked to have 2 sets of ceilidh dances, rather than just the one set that they normally offer. Gav was very friendly and approachable and made sure he introduced himself to my husband and I when they arrived and asked if there was anything specific we wanted on the night. The band were excellent and I'd thoroughly recommend them.

What a great experience, from hiring the band, attending the Hireaband Showcase at East Kilbride and meeting Gav and then speaking with Gav leading up to the night.
The band are simply tremendous, a great bunch of guys and our expectations of them were exceeded on the night. The guests at our wedding couldn't believe that for certain songs it was the band performing and not the original artist. Both Lynda and I would have no reservations in recommending the band to anybody, truly worth every penny and we wish them all the very best for future performances.

That band were fantastic, I don't think the dance floor was empty all night. Great selection of songs and they really do cater for all age groups. Many people have commented on the band.

I could not recommend Hireaband's service any more it was absolutely out standing, also the band were second to none, very nice people swell as an out standing band. Just wanted to say a very BIG THANK YOU for providing us with a fantastic band “Classic Noir” for the Queen of the South “Hall of Fame” 2015 ball on Saturday evening. A great night was had by all. I was first on the dance floor (as I rule I don’t do first!!) and last off. Gavin and his fellow band members did us proud. Please pass on our thanks to “Classic Noir”. Classic Noir were absolutely amazing. The standard of musicianship throughout the band literally blew me away - being a musician myself, I am very fussy and hard to impress but I literally didn't leave the dance floor! Their rendition of Runrig's Loch Lomond (among many other amazing covers) was one of the best I have ever heard (literally goosebumps!) and brought our evening to a close beautifully. I cannot thank them enough for giving such a wonderful performance, my guests and I were so impressed - we all still talk about it to this day!!!
