Thank you Borrowed Blues for the amazing performance at our wedding! All our guests had a great time and they absolutely loved the band!

The band were excellent. Really got the party going. They realised we were responding well to the Country music and they leaned into it and started playing more. It felt really dynamic and personal to us and we have had nothing but positive reports from our guests as well. Thank you.

I honestly don't know where to start with the Borrowed Blues, the band was electric. I have had so many guests saying it was the best wedding band they had ever seen at a wedding. The song choices were full of classics that filled the dancefloor ALL NIGHT, not one lull, the band members themselves were so friendly and chatting to guests, they learned not one but two songs we love (a STUNNING cover of la vie en rose!), the musicians themselves are incredible, it was amazing just to sit back and listen/watch how impressive they were (which many guests were doing if they were not dancing). We didn't see the band before booking, we just knew we wanted a band that were a bit different and on the retro side, and omg they just blew our minds. I couldn’t fault the service at all. Our wedding was a beautiful day, but borrowed Blues really brought the fun and made the wedding. Truly will never be able to thank them enough for the best night of our lives. All our friends and family in one room dancing to rock, soul and blues!

Borrowed Blues were fantastic! We got so many compliments on the music, people thought they were great. I’m also so grateful for them learning a Harry Styles song for the occasion, for giving me a chance to twirl with my step dad on the dance floor (for the first time ever!) and for absolutely nailing dancing in the dark, that moment is a memory I’ll love forever!

We had nothing but positive feedback from our guests about the band. Tone of the music, volume, timekeeping, everything 100 % spot on. The lead Alex is so chill and so friendly, the whole process was very smooth. We even hear on the grapevine that the venue asked them for some cards and would recommend them to future wedding parties, as they were the best band they had had in the hotel! To any couples looking through this, if your budget can fit Borrowed Blues, just do it. I promise you won't regret it.

The Borrowed Blues were absolutely brilliant, it was the best decision we made to have a band at our wedding. We cut our guestlist down due to covid and weren't sure if we needed a band but we went for it and do not regret it one bit!! The Borrowed Blues were absolutely incredible. Professional from start to finish, and just lovely people as well! They accommodated our requests cheerfully and willingly, and they went that extra mile to make our night special. The music they played was nothing short of outstanding - real musicians with real talent. From the very first song the guests were up on the dance floor, and they continued to dance all the way through as the music was too good to just sit down to. We loved every minute and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Amazing!

Borrowed Blues we're so good! We took the chance on hiring a band we hadn't seen in person but we totally lucked out - we couldn't have wished for a more professional, friendly or talented group for the wedding. The dancefloor was really busy through their whole set and we had a few guests who took a note of the band name for possible future bookings.

Borrowed Blues were 10/10 smash hits on our wedding day! Everyone loved them! We've never seen a dancefloor at a wedding be packed from start to finish, and that is 100% down to the guys being so brilliant. Special thanks to the guys for learning our first dance song, as well as our fave Springsteen tune - they knocked both out of the park. We'll be keeping an eye on any gigs they do in Scotland, as we're keen to come along as fans!

Borrowed Blues are the best wedding band going!
They were absolutely fantastic at our wedding on 02/11/2019 and we have had endless compliments from every single wedding guest about them, so many people have asked for the name and how to book for their own weddings/events! The dance floor was never empty and they definitely know how to keep a party going!
As well as being so talented, the band was so great with being in touch beforehand to discuss learning a song for our first dance, which they were amazing at!

I had hoped for a good band to play for us at West on the Green. Imagine our delight when the best band I had ever seen rocked up and were playing at *our* wedding.
The first dance was incredible, followed by some of our all-time favourite songs.

Borrowed Blues were great. They did a fantastic version of an Elvis song for our first dance and then kept the bride, friends and family on the dance floor all night. The ceilidh was a blast and so much fun for all.

The staff in the office where always a great help be it on the phone or via email. A special mention for Julie who helped me out the day before the wedding when I was in a flat spin over the booking!

Borrowed Blues are with out doubt the best wedding band in Scotland, They make every song there own and keep everyone up on dance floor from start to finish, absolutely loved having them as our wedding band and would recommend them highly to anyone thinking of having them.

The band were perfect! Everything about them was everything we wanted. They were fun to chat to on their break, they indulged my nephew with letting him play a song with them (on the drums) and quite honestly, the dance floor was so busy all night, because they were so good, we had more drinks left over at the end than we thought we would.

We looked for a long time trying to find a wedding band but they were all 'run of the mill' bands, then we found Borrowed Blues!
