Accelerator are a great option for live band entertainment at small to mid-sized functions, including private parties and wedding receptions – but we have also performed at large open air events to 4000 people.
We call the music we play “dance floor friendly” – which means that you and your guests will recognise the classic and contemporary hits we perform instantly. More than likely, you’ll spend the whole evening on the dance floor and your friends won’t want the evening to end!
Accelerator’s professional musicians are constantly in demand and have recorded and performed with some of the UK’s top recording artistes. And it’s this level of experience and versatility that we’ll bring to your event, resulting in a truly superb nights’ entertainment that your guests will be talking about for years to come.
In additional to performing our hearts out for your special day for up to two hours of live music, we also provide great DJ-style playlist of music, at no extra fee, which means that your whole evenings’ entertainment is taken care of. Excellent! Whatever your event, advance planning is crucial and it’s something we take seriously. We’ll talk to you about your favourite songs, when the best time is for us to arrive and soundcheck, how long you want us to perform, and we’ll work with the schedule you are putting together to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Just a quick note to say thank you for a great night. You were just as great as when we saw your play our friends’ wedding six years ago. You went down really well with everyone and it was great to see our parents dancing too.
You guy were amazing! Thank you for staggering your live sets to allow for our latecomers. I’m sure it happens all the time but it was really good to see that you were flexible and were able to change things around.
We have just returned from our honeymoon and need to reply to loads of texts from our friends saying how great the band was. Sorry about my Ryan getting onto the microphone to sing with you. He’s usually the last person I‘d expect to get up and sing but he loved your sound and songs so much!
We just wanted to let you know how professional Accelerator are, from the very first phone call ‘till the last song of the night. You made things so easy and pleasurable for us, and most importantly, the dance floor was packed all night.
Fantastic band. Great vocals, really good musicians. You made it a night to remember for all of our guests. You were all really nice guys and we couldn’t have hoped for a better night.
You were brilliant. Everyone was up on the dance floor and the mix of old and new songs was just what we were looking for. All of our favourite songs were in there including our requests. You made it feel like we had our own personal band.
A massive thank you to Accelerator. We both felt that you totally read the mood of our guests and kept them dancing all night even though it was a hot night in summer. Lots of aching feet and sore throats the morning after which just goes to show how much everyone enjoyed themselves!
We ran over an hour late but the band set up quickly and still started on time. They packed in lots of songs to keep the dance floor full and played a real mix of songs throughout the eras. The vocalist is a real stand out with a powerful voice and lots of personality. He was definitely a favourite with my bridesmaids!
Thanks again for playing our Christmas party. We think you were even better than last year with a good mix of music for everyone. You had the dance floor buzzing and you made the night perfect. Hopefully, we can hire you for next year too!
