From keeping my 84yr old Papa dancing all night, to allowing my 18 yr old brother to jam with you – you guys really do cater for all ages! Even my husband who “doesn’t do dancing”, was on the floor all night.
So, my advice to all those brides to be is – forget the flowers, forget the favours, forget the cake, just book the band! If you want a night that your guests will talk about for weeks, months, years to come – book Ernest!!!
Thank you so much, you were fantastic, from the impromtu Ceildth set to your amazing rendition of Caledonia! And our first dance was truly amazing!!

Ernest

If you are getting married in Scotland and you need a band for the reception check out ERNEST. They rock! I know because they rocked me!

Ernest

There is nothing ‘Wedding band’ about the lads in ERNEST. It’s as if Iggy Pop, Barry White, Bob Marley and the Rolling Stones’ DNA got tossed into a jam session and the resulting trio were able to play virtually any musical style on the planet. I had heard they were the best band in Scotland. Now I’m convinced it’s the world! I don’t think I’ve ever heard a live set as good as the guys played at my wedding. My guests were completely BLOWN AWAY. So much so, that a group of my friends from L.A stayed on after the wedding, trying to catch the boys next gig in Glasgow.
You can have the traditional, ruffled tux, pomade-impersonators ruining nuptial bliss or you can have ERNEST, kicking ass and reminding you that your wedding day should be the biggest reason there is to PARTY!

Ernest

Hi Guys, A simple thank you does not seem enough for delivering a stunning set at our wedding reception, musically you are on another planet compared to every other ‘wedding band’ out there!! If you are considering anyone other than Ernest as your wedding band then please think again, these guys are quite simply the best at what they do. A large number of guests at our reception definitely come under the ‘drinkers not dancers’ category but every one of them was up jigging on more than one occasion and we have lost count of the number of times we overheard comments praising the choice of songs, the quality of musicianship and the ability to get people on the floor. The cover you did of our 1st dance song will always be a standout moment in our lives as you took our fav song and made it better than we ever thought it could be. Thank you again for putting the musical cherry on top of our cake!! All the best.

Ernest

We are on honeymoon (!) so just the briefest of notes to say a massive Thank You for a fantastic performance on Friday. What a great set you guys put on..inc the Scottish reel. All our guests were raving about you on the night, the day after and in e-mails / texts since. Brilliant guys thank you so much..topped off what was already a fantastic day and took it to a new level. You will be assured of many recommendation following that performance.

Ernest

Just wanted to write a say a huge thank you to you for playing at our wedding. Everyone is still taking about how fantastic you were and Jamie and I have no doubt that you made our wedding the day it was. I will be recommending you to anyone who asks in the future. You truly were amazing. Thanks again for the best day of our lives,

Ernest

We would like to thankyou for your fantastic performance at our wedding on Saturday night. Every one of our guests ranted and raved about how great you guys were. Your versions of ‘Iris’ and ‘Always’ for our first and second dance were amazing and were everything we hoped they would be. A great bunch of guys and musicians who make up a superb band with an excellent repertoire which catered for all of our guests. Ernest made our special day even more special. If we ever need a band for future functions, there is only one band we will be booking. Thank you so much for your part in making our wedding a day to remember.

Ernest

Just wanted to drop you guys a note to say that Lisa and I want to thank you so much for helping make our wedding such a great day, both of us (and the rest of the guests) were completely blown away by your amazing performance, we lost count of people who commented on how damn good you were! The first dance song you guys did was fantastic and really set the scene for the rest of the night: great music, well played, with the dance floor always full! We’ll definitely recommend you to anyone we know who needs a band! P.S Thanks for letting my uncle sing!

Ernest

ERNEST were absolutely superb and rounded off our weekend in tremendous fashion. From a version of “The way you look tonight” that they made their own for the first dance, and oldies right through to a floor filling “Mr Brightside” they had us up dancing all night. Brilliant!!

Ernest

It’s true what they say – a good wedding band can make your wedding reception a night to remember. Ernest ARE certainly a band to do this. Once they start playing the dancefloor will never empty! So many of our guests commented on how good the band were with some stating that they were the best act they have seen at a wedding. If you want a great night, busy dance floor and a variety of music then Ernest are DEFINITELY the band to book.

Ernest

Ernest played at our wedding at Glenskirlie Castle and our guests kept saying how amazing the band were. That's exactly what we hoped their reaction would be, as it was exactly our reaction when we went to see Ernest for the first time. We knew then that this was no ordinary wedding band. We were very confident our guests would love Ernest and were not surprised when the staff at our reception said it was the best band they’ve ever had. A great band can make your wedding even more special and that’s exactly what Ernest did. Thanks Guys!

Ernest

Just wanted to say a belated thank you for your amazing performance and professionalism on the day of our wedding. You were outstanding and our friends loved you, as did we. You did us so proud with the Jewish music and we loved the rock spin you put on it. We couldn’t have asked for more. Subsequently, we know that many of our friends have tried to book you for their weddings only to find out that you are already booked up! We wish you every success and thanks again.
