Everything was perfect - the band arrived on time (although had to wait because we were behind and they stayed late to accommodate us) and set up discreetly. The caller and the music couldn't have been better, and everyone had tremendous fun. Would certainly book again, and had several enquiries. No negative comments to make whatsoever!

Just got back from our honeymoon and wanted to thank you all so much for the fantastic music at our wedding! Everyone had a great time and danced until exhausted!

Just to say thank you so much for playing and calling for us at the ceilidh on Saturday. We all had so much fun and your caller was incredibly patient!
We loved all your music and the energy you put into it. You seemed to get practically all the guests dancing by the end and it made the most wonderful finale to a perfect day.

Guys, we just don't have the words!
You were fantastic from start to finish and really, really made the night for us. I think the best tribute you could have had came from a pair of Jen's cousins who struggled with finding partners of the opposite sex so paired up together (one of our other guests even kindly provided "the lady" with a fascinator)... They said
'At most weddings you get a crap DJ and an awkward dancefloor. This is awesome!'
Alright, neither are the most articulate of lads, but the sentiment was echoed by all!
When we booked you, I was banking on 6 of you including the caller but when I counted, there was 6 AND a caller so that extra mile was not covered unnoticed, thank you. The melding of the bands enthusiasm and incredible musicality was awesome.
Lastly, point us in the direction of where ever we can write a review of you guys and we'll gladly do it.

Thank you all so much for providing the perfect entertainment for our wedding. The Scottish contingent unanimously said that "Half Moon Ceilidh Band is the best ceilidh outside of Scotland"!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for sending the 4 very gifted musicians to us for Sat night - they really made our party special and "what shall we do with a drunken sailor" went down a storm (twice!). They were very accommodating with our special needs children and didn't get phased even when our son tried to play the guitar and hug the band member at the same time! It was a fantastic evening and please pass on our thanks again to the guys! We hope to be able to book you again at some point!

I would like to thank you very much, I had such a great evening. Could you please pass on my thanks to the rest of the band, you were all fantastic.I had so many complementary comments from my guests, who ranged from seasoned ceilidh goers to people who had never been to a ceilidh before. They all said how good you were and what a fun evening it had been.

Lydia and I just wanted to thank you, and all the the band and your caller, for the excellent night you gave us at Newbury. Everyone is still talking about it.

Just wanted to thank you all for providing a wonderful ceilidh for my sister's wedding last weekend in Cheriton. It was the high point of the evening and nobody could stop talking about you because your enthusiasm made it so easy for everyone to take part.You made a real impression as extremely talented musicians with a very entertaining (if cheeky!) caller: "Meringue warning..."!!!
