Brando

Brando played for our 40th birthday party and we couldn’t have enjoyed the evening more. They catered for all ages and musical tastes and kept everyone dancing throughout. All of our guests remarked on how good they were, and we will definitely hire them again for any future events.

Brando were absolutely fantastic, we couldn't have asked for more. Starting late because dinner overran they went through a three hour set without stopping and started to fill the dance floor with young and 'older' alike. A brilliant evening, thank you so much. We would recommend Brando to all and they will be first on our list for the next party!

Tom and I just wanted to say thank you so much for the most amazing day and night. You were honestly EPIC!! I danced so much I now haven’t been able to put shoes on for 2 days (my fault for wearing heels) but you were insane. As usual you guys were complete stars on Saturday and really made a fantastic day even more special for us all. You were the first part of the wedding that was booked because we knew you were all an essential feature of it. We were trying to work out how may years we have been watching you at Cowes - Laura was still at school! Every time the play list is so varied and the dance floor is packed with happy people. T

Wow - Brando were just so fantastic and the dance floor was filled with happy guests through out the night. This was the 4th time we have hired them (3 parties and this time a wedding) and they are always consistently fun, engaging and they have an almost unlimited play list. The musical choices are often governed by the guests and so you are guaranteed a successful event. In organising the wedding Brando were the first part of the event we booked since we knew we could relax after this.

Absolutely MADE our day. The best band ever, I think the fact that we have had you at our wedding & kids birthdays says enough but we absolutely ADORE you all!

Brando are the best band you can get and we are lucky to have them again for our annual Propsail regatta. Everyone always comes away happy and says they are one of the best live performances they have seen. They engage with the crowd and get everyone up and dancing. Highly recommend. The band were absolutely superb!!! We had a fantastic day it quite literally couldn’t have gone any better everything was perfect! Then your band came on and just stole the show! In the evening we had about 170 people in total, how the band could go from playing The Eagles Take it Easy to Miley Cyrus Flowers just incredible! Then to finish the evening with the best live version of Desperado I’ve ever heard just amazing! Everyone has been messaging us saying how superb they were! Definitely have you guys back!

There are honestly not enough words to explain how amazing Brando are. Live music was always a priority for us right from the start of wedding planning and we could not be happier that we booked Brando. They are INCREDIBLE!!! We first booked them back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding that then had to be postponed not once but twice. Irving was a complete pleasure to work with during this really stressful time, being patient and understanding with great communication. When the day finally arrived, we were utterly blown away by the guys - they made holding out an extra two years for the wedding we had dreamed off completely worthwhile. We had the five piece, but honestly you would have thought there were 10 of them in the room, with the amazing sound they produced. We sent quite a few song requests in advance and they pulled them all off brilliantly, with loads of other great choices thrown in. Our guests (and us) never wanted them to end - I barely left the dance floor all night and could have carried on dancing til dawn. Phil also provided a solo daytime set for us during our drinks reception which was fantastic - it was a bit wet and drizzly but he brought a gazebo and cracked on, and was so good that our guests were dancing literally in the rain. We're already planning an anniversary party for the future, just so we have a reason to book Brando again. Thanks for everything guys!

The best band ever! We have hired Brando lots of times and a) they are brilliant musicians, with an inexhaustible repertoire and b) they really know how to get a party to swing. We'll be hiring them again, and again...

The band was fantastic! They made the party really. The played very well and judged the mood of the evening perfectly. They were very funny and got the crowd going on the dance floor all night.
They were accommodating too and allowed for changes of plan as we went along.
Their set list is awesome and their musicianship is great.
We only have praises for them and so did all the 60 guests. It doesn’t get better than that.

Brando were the deciding factor on when we had our wedding, we secured the band with a provisional location booking :) ... They are absolute crowd pleasers!!! Brando were unbelievable. Everyone at the wedding was bowled over by how good they were. At one point I think we had all 100 guests on the dance floor (even 93 year old grannie) the boogying night away! We gave everyone song request sheets and the band were able to play all of them. Most of them sounding better/ cooler than the original! Would highly recommend them as they really made our wedding so special.

The dance floor was never empty which says it all. Their repertoire seems to be limitless, and the performance was fantastic.

Pre party we may have built the band up and set the bar pretty high based on many Cowes Week performances. Even then Brando exceeded expectations. Definitely the best Party Band on the planet!

What a fabulous band and a great group of guys! Can't rate Brando highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble and they were instrumental (sorry for the pun!) in getting the whole occasion going with a swing!

This is the second time that Brando have performed for us at a private party. They exceeded expectations. Brando provided an outstanding evening of music with lots of friendly banter and chat along the way. We are already trying to work out a reason to have another party with Brando providing the tunes!

Brando were amazing, I’ve had so many compliments about them at our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for more, from the communication before the event, to the performance itself they were truly incredible.

Brando really made our wedding, they were flexible with the timings which changed on the day, were very professional, and set up in a very unobtrusive way.

The music itself was spectacular, the dance floor was packed throughout the whole night, they read the crowd perfectly and kept the party going. Couldn’t have asked for a better band, amazing that they can take requests beforehand and on the night and play them.

Three of the band also arrived early to provide acoustic music for the drinks reception and were playing when we arrived, which set the tone nicely for this part of the day.

They also provided an excellent microphone PA system with technical support for the speeches, and even put on a bit of background music for us while we were eating our meal.

Hire a band and Irving were a pleasure to correspond with beforehand, and we managed to organise everything despite date changes and forever changing covid restrictions

Brando we’re supposed to play as a full band but we had to reduce numbers. We had Phil and Wayne play and they were awesome. They read the crowd perfectly and everyone was dancing from start to finish. Thank you so much!

We have often hired this band in London and the Isle of Wight and Zermatt, even flying them out to Barbados for a wedding, because they are so talented and so good. They know how to adapt to a crowd and play what works and how to keep the party going without stopping!

Just unbelievably excellent!
We have seen Brando a number of times at the Duke of York during Cowes Week, and we always have a brilliant time when they’re on. It was an easy choice to book them for our wedding this September, and they did not disappoint!
From the first dance to the final number, the dancefloor was full, and the requests kept coming! They were the perfect way to finish off an amazing day, and we could not recommend them highly enough! All the way through to the specifically requested zombie/love the way you lie/lose yourself mashup at the end, everyone had the best time.
Book this band if you want a party.

Great band and very accommodating with our stage invaders!
Music in between the band playing could have been better. Music tempo started a bit slow but when the requests starting coming everyone was on the dance floor.

Brando are the best party band there is - they are 100% guaranteed to interact with guests and ensure that the dance floor stays full all evening. There is no set play list - just endless and seamless transitions across many genres to keep the party rocking. Their version of tracks sounds better than the original thanks to a funky brass section, brilliant bass and great vocal range. We have lost count of the number of events we have been to with Brando and each has been unique and fun filled. We can't recommend them enough.

Everyone loved Brando, so many happy guests and people asking me where I had found them. We had the best night and the band were superb. Would highly recommend for any age group, they were brilliant at anticipating what was going to work and interacting with the guests on the dance floor. Cannot recommend highly enough. The band were fantastic. The feedback from guests has been amazing. They played non-stop from 7.15pm - 10pm. Incredible energy and especially loved by Binky from Made in Chelsea! ;)

Couldn’t have been better

We have been fans of the band for many years and we sooooooooooo excited when we booked them for our wedding.
As ever they did not disappoint, on point from the pre wedding planning to the last song.
We had several performers at the wedding and they all complemented on how amazing the band were, as did the rest of the guests and venue staff.
The band even accommodated our friends performing our first dance and having to plug into their equipment with was fantastic of them.
I have been recommending your guys for years and will continue to do so. Just need to find my next excuse to book them.

Brando were truly brilliant! They really really made our night. I mentioned about 30 minutes before they started their first set that my husband was Australian, named 3 songs he and his friends would love to hear and they delivered on all of them! It made it so personal to us and the Aussies loved it, even prompting a cameo from one of our guests!

All the tracks they played were great and our guests loved them too, I can not recommend them enough.

I booked Brando for my husbands 50th after seeing them at the mulberry end of summer party.They never fail to get the whole crowd on the dance floor,and seem to know every song in the universe!!! Everything was absolutely brilliant we couldn't have been happier. Brando played non stop with great style and really connected with our guests who loved, loved them. The dance floor was full to bursting point for well over 3 hours Non stop and the feedback from our guests both on the night and since has been mega positive. What an amazing band - they took our wedding celebrations from great to exceptional.
